AEW President Tony Khan and Miro have sat down together to address his absence from TV.
Miro signed with AEW in 2020 after being released from WWE that same year and is a former TNT Champion.
The Bulgarian wrestler has been vocal about his displeasure with AEW’s booking for him, as he has had just one match in the past six months.
Fightful Select reports that Khan and Miro had a meeting a couple of weeks ago to discuss his absence from TV.
It is unspecified what was said at the meeting or whether it will lead to better booking for the former Rusev.
Miro’s wife CJ ‘Lana’ Perry recently teased that Miro will return to WWE, saying last week that “everyone always returns back to WWE at some point.”
