During the post-show media scrum for AEW Double Or Nothing, Tony Khan spoke more in-depth about the contractual obligations for Jon Moxley and Cody Rhodes’ Double Or Nothing entrance which very much seemed to incite feelings of a promotional war between AEW and WWE.

Regarding Moxley, Tony Khan reiterated that he is signed to a multiple year deal, but Moxley will be allowed to work internationally and also some domestic independent dates before AEW debuts on the TNT Network and their schedule becomes more hectic. At that point, Moxley and many others will become the exclusive property of AEW.

As far as Cody Rhodes’ entrance and the potential shots fired at WWE, Tony Khan said that they want to provide the best show possible for the fans and if giving off the implications of a promotional war helps excite the fans, then that is what they will do.

In the past, Tony Khan and many others have openly said they want WWE to succeed and that they are just looking to provide a healthy alternative for wrestling fans to live a better life.
