AEW President Tony Khan was among the first to react to Vince McMahon announcing his retirement from WWE.
As previously reported, Nick Khan and Stephanie McMahon will serve as co-CEOs of WWE.
Khan took to Twitter to note that he has now become the longest-tenured CEO in professional wrestling. He didn’t directly mention Vince McMahon but did plug tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage:
“Thanks to you wrestling fans and your great support of @AEW, I’m grateful to now be the longest-tenured CEO in pro wrestling. Thank you very much to every single person who watches @AEWonTV! See you for Friday Night #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama @ 10pm ET/9pm CT/10pm PT *TONIGHT*!”
