New information has surfaced regarding the new annual Owen Hart Cup tournament that AEW will be introducing in 2022.
As noted, AEW President Tony Khan appeared as a guest on Busted Open Radio on Friday morning for an interview promoting tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage, as well as the upcoming AEW Holiday Bash special events scheduled for next Wednesday and Friday evening.
We previously reported here at eWrestlingNews.com that Khan announced during his Busted Open Radio appearance that there will be two singles tournaments for the Owen Hart Cup — one will be for the men and another for the women.
Additionally, the boss-man of AEW also noted during his appearance on the popular pro wrestling program that the date and location for the start of the first-annual Owen Hart Cup will be revealed during the AEW Rampage broadcast tonight on TNT at 10/9c.
