Tony Schiavone Claims Jeff Jarrett Makes AEW A Better Company

Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett will be competing in the four-way tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship this Sunday at AEW Revolution.

During a recent appearance for AdFreeShows, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone heaped praise on Jarrett for making Tony Khan’s company a better place.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Jarrett’s condition: “For as long as he has been wrestling, he looks in tremendous shape. I like him as a person.”

On Jeff’s eulogy to his father: “It was a great day. Jeff Jarrett did such a wonderful job eulogizing his father. It was good, it was a good day. So, and I got to hang out with Jeff all day after that, so that was cool … He’s the best. I just sent him a text today how much I think we are a better company with him in it and we are. Great hire.”

On November 2, 2022, Jarrett made his debut for AEW on Dynamite, making his first televised wrestling appearance on TBS in over 21 years since the final episode of WCW Thunder on March 21, 2001. Jarrett currently serves as the Director of Business Development of AEW.
