It’s looking like Top Dolla having backstage heat could have led to his WWE release, as well as the rest of Hit Row.
Dave Meltzer reported the following in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
“While he came across well on television, he rubbed a ton of people the wrong way in NXT and was getting the same reputation on the main roster.”
It was added that Vince McMahon saw Top Dolla as the star of Hit Row due to his size. However, when the decision to cut him was made then the other faction members didn’t stand a chance of staying.
WWE called up the group to SmackDown in early October, but a month later B-Fab was released.
