Top WWE Superstar Not Medically Cleared To Wrestle

As noted, Randy Orton didn’t appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Cincinnati, OH at the Heritage Bank Center.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Orton was not backstage at WWE Extreme Rules either. While he was advertised to appear at Saturday’s house show, he didn’t wrestle. 

Pwinsider.com confirmed the report about Orton not being backstage at Raw and also provided a reason as to why. It was said the word making the rounds backstage was that he was not “cleared to perform.”

It’s unclear why he can’t work right now or when he’ll be back on television.
