It appears that WWE may be looking to reboot their Tough Enough reality contest series.

As reported by PWInsider, WWE filed for the trademark citing it was looking to be used in the following manner(s):

“a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fans; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

Now, we know that WWE has been looking for an updated version of its Divas Search, but perhaps that will become a new version of Tough Enough. It is also possible that it was just time to renew the trademark, so it can always be used at a later time.

Through the years, the Tough Enough winners have never provided much of an impact in the wrestling industry but the show itself has given a path to names like Johnny Impact, The Velveteen Dream, The Miz, and more.

What do you think, would you like to see Tough Enough return?
