Earlier this week it was announced that NXT will host their 25th TakeOver special on June 1st Live from Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The event, appropriately named NXT TakeOver XXV, now has two championship bouts confirmed.
On Twitter, Triple H announced that Johnny Gargano will defend his NXT Championship against Adam Cole. These two met in a classic match at NXT TakeOver: New York.
Triple H also announced that Shayna Baszler will defend NXT Women’s Championship against Io Shirai:
