Prior to his professional wrestling career, Matt Riddle competed in mixed martial arts (MMA). He was actually very successful, racking up a record of 8-3-2, at one point having a five-fight win streak. However, two of those wins were overturned to a No Contest due to marijuana use.
Today, he is one of WWE NXT’s top stars. But according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Triple H is open to Riddle also competing in MMA again. However, “The Game” says the decision is ultimately up to Riddle:
“The question would be, if an offer came, would it be something he’s interested in doing?” said Triple H via Sapp. “Because he’s having the time of this life doing what he’s doing. He might, but I don’t know that he’d want to take a moment out and train differently.”
