Trish Stratus is hopeful that her extraordinary career will be portrayed by Margot Robbie in a biopic one day.

Stratus’ accolades in wrestling include being a seven-time WWE Women’s Champion, WWE Hall of Famer, and one-time Hardcore Champion.

Margot Robbie has also had success in her own profession, with leading roles in The Suicide Squad, Mary Queen of Scots, and Babylon to her name.

Appearing on the “My Mom’s Basement” podcast, Stratus expressed her interest in a biopic directed by former WWE writer/actor Freddie Prinze Jr.

When Trish asked the show’s host Robbie Fox for casting ideas, Fox suggested Margot Robbie, and the Canadian legend was in favor of the casting. She said,

“Okay, I accept that. I like that.”

Fox also pitched Cara Delevigne to play Stratus’ best friend Lita to which Trish replied,

“Okay, yeah, I like that. [Maybe not looks wise] But like the essence. [The essence. The personality.] Yeah.”

Trish and Lita will team up with Becky Lynch to face Damage CTRL at WWE WrestleMania 39 next month.
