Mickie James and Victoria are not currently in the WWE Hall of Fame, and Trish Stratus thinks that both women deserve to be inducted.
Stratus went into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2013 class. She recently spoke with Casual Conversations with The Classic about James and Victoria deserving the honor, as well. The six-time Women’s Champion said,
“The aforementioned Mickie James, that’s for sure. I’d like to see Victoria [get inducted]. Soon would be great. I think she’s well deserving. I think she’s underrated. I do so many interviews, and people ask me about different feud and different rivalries. I feel like when we were competing, women’s wrestling was just turning the corner as far as being taken serious. Those matches with her that people see like, ‘Oh, this actually legit, and this is a viable part of the entire show.’ So yeah, Victoria for the Hall of Fame.”
Victoria wrestled with WWE from 2002 to 2009 before moving on to Impact Wrestling. The real-life Lisa Marie Varon won multiple times with the company and returned for a match on the January 26th episode of IMPACT! on AXS TV.
