Former WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Troy Donovan has insisted that he has learned from his “mistakes” following his release from the company.
Donovan, who was one of Tony D’Angelo’s ‘wiseguys’ on NXT 2.0, was cut over the weekend after what’s been described as a policy issue.
In his first post-WWE tweet, Donovan did not clarify what issues led to his abrupt departure.
The former Superstar said that “mistakes happen and lessons are learned” and thanked fans for their support.
While not confirmed, it’s believed that Donovan is subject to a 30-day non compete clause with WWE.
Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned. A bump in the road doesn’t define me though. I’ll be back 🐺
