During PROGRESS Wrestling’s “Super Strong Style Day Two” live event, Tyler Bate was injured during a match with Kassius Ohno. The match took place on Sunday and forced him out of the tournament. Bate injured his shoulder during his match with Ohno, who he had defeated. Bate was scheduled to face Zack Gibson on Monday. Following the injury, Bate was pulled from the match. There is no word on how serious the injury is as of this writing.
For what it’s worth, Bate suffered a minor knee injury earlier this year and had to drop out of the Dusty Rhodes Classic as a result. Some within WWE are already calling him “injury prone” and that won’t do him any favors for obvious reasons.
