At Saturday night’s NWA Hard Times 3 pay-per-view event, Tyrus captured the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship after defeating Trevor Murdoch and Matt Cardona in a Triple Threat Match.
Following the show, the former Brodus Clay took to Twitter to issue a statement on his win, the sacrifices he’s made, and his training. He wrote,
“The training the focus, the sacrifice… training alone …. Living in the gym not living the Fridge… film-study being prepared on a daily basis on a high-level #Newyorktimesbestseller #1 late-night show @Gutfeldfox and now NEW @nwa world heavyweight champion #tyrussmash”
