Tyson Fury may be returning to WWE television later this summer as Louis Dangoor of Give Me Sport reports that the boxing star is in talks with WWE regarding a potential return.
The report notes that nothing has been finalized yet, and it’s unclear whether this return would see him wrestle again or just make an appearance at the Clash of the Castle event on September 3rd, a premium live event in the UK.
Dangoor was the first to report that WWE had plans for Fury to wrestle then-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at an event in the UK in 2020, but that was nixed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fury later confirmed the report.
Fury previously worked the 2019 WWE Crown Jewel event, where he wrestled Braun Strowman.
If Fury comes back and faces McIntyre, then Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns would need a new opponent as McIntyre previously challenged him to a match at this show.
