It was previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com that WWE has been wanting to book Tyson Fury for a cameo at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event followed by a match at WrestleMania 39 with visa issues standing in the way of their plans.

However, it appears that there’s one more thing WWE needs to worry about, and that is Fury’s unprofessionalism when it comes to doing “what’s best for business.”

Dave Meltzer reports in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Fury has no intention to play by the rulebook when it comes to looking vulnerable or making opponents look good in the ring. Meltzer discussed Fury’s attitude toward other wrestlers and addressed the possibility of The Gypsy King competing at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The renowned journalist said,

“It was noted that Fury was not willing to put people over or even look vulnerable, and if he were to be in the Rumble as a surprise, what would he do and how does it even make sense for him to do a quick Rumble cameo given the amount of money it would cost to use him.”

Fury made his WWE in-ring debut in a winning effort against Braun Strowman at the 2019 Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia.
