Interim light heavyweight title bout: Jon Jones (21-1) vs. Ovince Saint Preux (19-7)

Round 1: Jones comes out crawling then stands up. Jones threw a spinning back kick to the body. Jones missed a spinning kick, and Saint Preux tagged him with an uppercut. Saint Preux started to throw leg kicks in the middle of the round. Jones clinched with him late in the round and landed some knees.

Round 2: Preux was doing a lot of hand movement. Jones went for a single leg takedown at 4:15 but Preux shook him off. Jones landed a hard kick to the body at 3:52. Saint Preux landed a good right hook at 1:45. Jones was starting to land leg kick as well. Saint Preux was slowing down in this round. Jones landed a spinning back kick to the body. Saint Preux tagged him with 30-seconds left with a right hand.

Round 3: Saint Preux landed a good combo at 4:05 and started to let his hands go. Jones connected with a spinning elbow at 3:40. The fans were booing heavily in this round due to the lack of action. Jones landed a big head kick and then a right hand at 1:34.

Round 4: Saint Preux tried to land leg kicks and was doing so successfully. Jones clinched with him at 3:40 and Jones picked him and slammed him down at 3:25. Saint Preux got to his feet, and Jones landed a knee strike to the face. Saint Preux threw a body kick, and it was caught. Jones pressed him against the fence and slammed him down at 2:00. Jones got side control and landed a series of elbows. Saint Preux tried to kick off of the fence, but Jones kept him pinned down. Saint Preux scrambled, but Jones got mount with 45-seconds to go. Jones got back mount, and he landed big shots.

Round 5: Saint Preux was very tired at this point, and Jones was T-ing off on him with strikes and elbows. Jones picked him up and slammed him down to the ground at 2:05 and Jones landed a soccer kick. Saint Preux got to his feet at 1:45. Jones clinched with him at 1:17 and landed some elbows.

Result: Jon Jones def. Ovince St. Preux via unanimous decision (50-45 x2, 50-44)

Flyweight title bout: Demetrious Johnson (23-2-1) vs. Henry Cejudo (10-0)

Round 1: Cejudo clinched with him and took Johnson down at 3:20. Johnson kicked him off seconds later and got to his feet. Cejudo clinched with him again, and Johnson landed a series of knee strikes. Johnson pressed him up against the fence and went off on him with them. Cejudo dropped, and this one is over.

Result: Demetrious Johnson def. Henry Cejudo via TKO (strikes) – Round 1, 2:49

Lightweight bout: Anthony Pettis (18-4) vs. Edson Barboza (16-4)

Round 1: A feeling out process early. Both men were using a lot of movement. Barboza caught him with a hard left hook at 2:30 and then started to open up with kicks. Pettis was trying to get inside. Barboza landed a spinning back kick with 55-seconds later. Pettis tried to take him down but Barboza pushed him off.

Round 2: Pettis turned up the heat in this round and was stalking Barboza. Barboza was catching him with a left hook when Pettis would lean in. Barboza rocked him with a left hook at 1:15. Pettis was circling him and avoiding Barboza’s kicks throughout the fight.

Round 3: Barboza caught him with a strong right kick to begin the round. Barboza was starting to land jabs at will and Pettis had no answer for them. Barboza was eating him alive with inside leg kicks.

Result: Edson Barboza def. Anthony Pettis via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Middleweight bout: Robert Whittaker (15-4) vs. Rafael Natal (21-6-1)

Round 1: After a slow start, both guys start mixing it up about a minute into the round. Whittaker starts to press the action later in the round. Whittaker tagged him, and Natal was on floppy legs. Whittaker stalked him to end the round.

Round 2: Whittaker was working over the legs of Natal with kicks. Whittaker landed a sick head kick at 4:07. Natal’s movement was slowed down due to the leg kicks. Natal caught him with a right hook at 2:30. Whittaker was starting to throw jabs, and those were landing often.

Round 3: More of the same in this round. Whittaker was just the better fight and out striking him. Natal went for a takedown at 2:47 but ate a hook for his troubles. Whittaker blitzed him with strikes to end the round.

Result: Robert Whittaker def. Rafael Natal via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Featherweight bout: Yair Rodriguez (6-1) vs. Andre Fili (15-3)

Round 1: Both guys come out fast and start throwing a lot of strikes and spinning kicks. Rodriguez threw him down and started throwing bombs from half guard. Fili went for a heel hook, but Rodriguez got out of it. Fili got to his feet with 41-seconds to go. They exchange to the bell.

Round 2: Fili comes out aggressive. Rodriguez took him down with a double-leg and got guard. Fili got up at 3:02 but Rodriguez KO’d him with a jumping roundhouse kick to the face.

Result: Yair Rodriguez def. Andre Fili via knockout (flying kick) – Round 2, 2:15

Preliminary Card: (FS1 – 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT)

Flyweight bout: Sergio Pettis (13-2) vs. Chris Kelades (9-2)

Round 1: Pettis was using a lot of movement in this round, and Kelades was having a hard time closing the distances. Kelades was looking to take the fight to the ground late in the round. However, Pettis was stuffing them and keeping the fight standing. Pettis with a sweep takedown with a minute to go and got half guard.

Round 2: Kelades took him down 30-seconds into the round. Pettis sweept him about a minute later and got on top in guard. Kelades scrambled to his feet at 1:30 and they went back to striking.

Round 3: Pettis got an early takedown and got half guard where he worked him over with strikes.

Result: Sergio Pettis def. Chris Kelades via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Welterweight bout: Danny Roberts (12-1) vs. Dominique Steele (14-6)

Round 1: Steele caught him with a big right hand, and Roberts dropped. Steele picked him up and slammed him. He swarms him with some strikes. Roberts would get up and land some knees in the clinch. Steele slammed him down with one minute to go but Roberts scrambled to his feet, and Roberts clinched with him again.

Round 2: Steele worked for an early takedown but couldn’t get it. Roberts started to get tired in this round and the amount of strikes he was throwing slowed down. Roberts tagged him with a left hook at 2:32 and Steele clinched with him.

Round 3: Steele continues to work for takedowns in this round, and Roberts was so tired that he put up a fight, but it wasn’t much. They were stood up with 1:40 to go and they went back to striking. Steele got a late round takedown, but Roberts stood up. Steele clinched with him and landed a series of knee strikes.

Result: Danny Roberts def. Dominique Steele via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Women’s strawweight bout: Carla Esparza (10-3) vs. Juliana Lima (8-2)

Round 1: After a slow start, Lima clinched with her and put her up against the fence. Esparza got a double-leg takedown at 3:00 and worked her over with strikes from half guard. Lima pushed her off, kicked her in the face, but Esparza jumped down and got half guard with one minute to go.

Round 2: Esparza came out and got a double-leg takedown right away. Esparza was in half guard and worked her over with strikes. Lima got to her feet with 15-seconds to go and Esparza clinched with her.

Round 3: Once again, Esparza comes out and takes her down and gets guard. Lima tried to sweep off her back late in the round and did. She got on top in half guard and worked her over with strikes.

Result: Carla Esparza def. Juliana Lima via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Lightweight bout: Glaico Franca (13-3) vs. James Vick (8-0)

Round 1: Franca stunned him with a short strike then took him down within the first 30-seconds of the round. He got half guard. Vick got to his feet at 4:00 but Franca took him down seconds later. Vick crawls to the cage and Franca stays on him. Vick got to his feet and started to land a series of strikes. Franca took him down with a double-leg to end the round.

Round 2: Franca got his right eye checked out after being poked. The fight goes on. Franca took him down at 3:05 and got guard. Vick got to his feet at 1:45 and started to land strikes.

Round 3: Both guys came out and started throwing bombs. Vick caught him with a front kick to the face.

Result: James Vick def. Glaico Franca via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Preliminary Card: (UFC Fight Pass – 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT)

Heavyweight bout: Cody East (12-1) vs. Walt Harris (7-4)

Round 1: East was kicked in the nuts early. After a pause in the action, both guys started to throw bombs. Harris landed a huge left hand the swarmed him with strikes to end the fight.

Result: Walt Harris def. Cody East via TKO (strikes) at 4:18 of R1

Light heavyweight bout: Marcos Rogerio de Lima (13-3-1) vs. Clint Hester (11-5)

Round 1: De Lima dropped him with a left hook and swarmed him with strikes from top half guard. De Lima then got mount at 2:47 and started to beat his face in with strikes. De Lima moved back into half guard at 1:10 and continued to land strikes. De Lima locked in the arm-triangle choke for the win.

Result: Marcos Rogerio de Lima def. Clint Hester via submission (arm-triangle choke) at 4:35 of round 1

Lightweight bout: Efrain Escudero (24-10) vs. Kevin Lee (11-2)

Round 1: Lee was landing right jabs early and has the reach advantage. Escudero caught a body kick and clinched with him at 2:49. He quickly let it go. Escudero slammed him down at 2:15 but Lee popped right up. Lee clinched with him and tried to take him down. Lee hurt him with an uppercut and then took him down with a minute to go. Escudero got to his feet, and they exchanged to the bell.

Round 2: Escudero ducked under and got a takedown at 3:51 but Lee popped right up. Escudero was more aggressive in this round. Lee clinched with him up against the fence and worked him over with shots.

Round 3: Lee was kicked in the nuts early into the round. Lee took him down at 2:48 and got half guard. Lee worked him over with strikes. Lee went for a guillotine choke with a minute to go but couldn’t get it.

Result: Kevin Lee def. Efrain Escudero via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
