To kick off 2019, WWE’s main roster has called up a handful of NXT Superstars to join the party, however, many people have been asking about the status of the Undisputed Era. Tonight WWE will be holding a show at MSG where the Undisputed Era will take on main roster stars in a massive tag team match. Multiple fans asked if this is a sign that we could see the Undisputed Era on the main roster in 2019, but Dave Meltzer squashed the rumor saying this was “not really” a hint at their debut.

Multiple sources claim that WWE is just filling up some space with the Undisputed Era and giving them a few test runs in the main roster spotlight, however, I wouldn’t rule out an Undisputed Era debut sometime in 2019 given how fast things change in the WWE.

Secondly, Rusev won the US Title on Smackdown last night and the victory was clearly an emotional moment for him. Prior to his Rusev Day career resurgence, he was floating around the mid-card and eventually saved by his chasing of Nakamura. After his victory, Rusev was interviewed backstage where he revealed he had doubts he would find success in WWE again.

“You know, I had many doubts that this day was gonna come, but my wife was so supportive. She said, ‘No, you work so hard and it will come,’ and here it is. We’re here now.”

Winning the US title on Christmas AND Rusev Day is quite the feat, but Rusev fans may now rejoice as the Bulgarian Brute is Champion again.
