On this week’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, it was announced that Sheamus will defend his United States Championship against Damian Priest at SummerSlam.
During the show, Priest would encounter Sheamus before defeating John Morrison in a match that also saw The Miz seemingly confirm his recovery from injury. After the match, Priest would call out Sheamus declaring him a bully. The US Champ would then emerge on the stage, and after a brief confrontation, Priest would challenge him to a match for the title at SummerSlam and Sheamus would accept.
