According to a report from Fightful Select, an X-Division Championship match featuring champion Josh Alexander at the recent set of Impact Wrestling TV tapings received a lot of high praise. Supposedly, the match was praised by the locker room and lasted well over an hour. Unfortunately, no other details were revealed regarding who was Alexander’s opponent at this time.
Alexander won the title from Ace Austin in a match that also included TJP at Impact Rebellion on April 25th. Since then, he has successfully defended the title against Austin and El Phantasmo. He is set to team with Petey Williams against TJP and Fallah Baah on this week’s Impact Wrestling broadcast.
