Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline recently discussed All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) pursuit of CM Punk. Meltzer confirmed that things between the two sides are not a work, and AEW is truly continuously making Punk offers. However, the former WWE Champion continues to turn them down.
It’s likely that more offers with come Punk’s way with AEW heading to TNT for a weekly TV program (via WrestlingNewsCo):
“This is not a work. He [Punk] doesn’t wanna wrestle. They want him, they’ve contacted him and he isn’t interested. They made another pitch for this pay-per-view and I’m sure they’ll try to make another pitch for [the TNT show] and he says no. That’s where it stands.”
