Despite the fact that GFW announced earlier this week that Alberto El Patron had been stripped of the Unified World Heavyweight Title due to the recent domestic incident with Paige at an Orlando airport, his match against Low Ki is still being advertised for this week’s Destination X special on Pop TV.
We noted earlier on the site that GFW Executive Bruce Prichard will be at Destination X to make an announcement on the title that “will rock GFW and IMPACT to its very core.” In the statement that GFW issued this week, it noted that no decision had been made on when El Patron will be brought back from suspension. There is speculation that El Patron’s suspension will end with Destination X.
