Alberto El Patron’s trial for charges of sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping begins next Monday.

According to PWInsider Elite, the trial kicks off on October 25 in San Antonio, Texas, despite it originally being set for January. It was postponed multiple times, largely due to the pandemic.

Patron is facing four counts of sexual assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping on claims that he assaulted a woman after accusing her of being infidelity.

He reportedly forced her to wear a dress and dance for him, and eventually even allegedly sexually assaulted her for a period that was listed as 16 hours.

The woman went to the police the same day as the alleged attacks, and had bruising on her face, arms, legs and neck, as seen by the responding officer.

Additionally, she claimed that Patron tried to burn her passport and destroy her computer and cell phone, while threatening to take her son and drop him off in the middle of the road somewhere if she didn’t stop crying before the alleged sexual assault.

If the longtime pro wrestling and MMA fighting veteran is convicted, he could face life in prison.

Back in November, it was reported that a woman who claims to have made the accusations apologized on social media, which Patron’s brother shared and used as proof that it was an admission from her that the charges were untrue.

That did nothing to change the trial date.
