As reported here on eWrestlingNews, speculation began to mount that Braun Strowman could be returning to WWE after new merchandise emerged for him on WWE’s online store.
Now though, a new report from Pwinisider says that the emergence of these shirts is not necessarily a sign of Strowman’s impending return. Instead, it states that these shirts were actually first released on June 2, 2021, when Strowman was still under contract with the company. As a result of this, the report states that whilst WWE Shop automatically listed the shirts as “new”, they actually had been released for pre-order on an earlier occasion.
This is not the first time a situation like this has played out, as WWE previously had an Aleister Black t-shirt available for pre-order on the day of his release. This shirt has now been properly released and remains on WWE Shop to this day, admittedly at a very reduced price.
Strowman was one of several WWE talents released on June 2 of this year.
