Ever since Triple H took over as Head of Creative, many have wondered whether former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt would return to the company. Wyatt has been teasing his next move on social media for months, all the while never giving a definite answer. With ex-NXT stars such as Dakota Kai and Dexter Lumis showing up on the main roster, it’s led to the belief that a Wyatt return could happen any day now.
According to Fightful, the former WWE star’s name has been coming up backstage. The creative team has also been reportedly pitching for Wyatt’s return. Regarding the relationship between Wyatt and former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, one source said that the two had a toxic relationship backstage. The source even stated that when rumors surfaced of Wyatt having a “bad attitude,” the rumors apparently originated from those working close to McMahon.
Several talents on the WWE roster have said they would “go to bat” for Wyatt, though they believe Wyatt wouldn’t even need the support. While Wyatt’s name has been pitched, it doesn’t mean he’s guaranteed to return.
