After Bray Wyatt was absent from WWE TV following the RAW after WrestleMania 37, rumors began to swirl over why he had remained off TV for so long. Some of these rumors included unfounded speculation over Wyatt’s mental health, but a new report from Fightful has debunked these reports.
According to several sources close to Wyatt, the reports of the issues with him were “falsely reported mental health issues.” Wyatt had reportedly already scheduled family engagements for May and June.
At the time of his release, Bray Wyatt was cleared to compete with tentative plans in place and his WWE return date set (Monday, August 9th). According to the report, Wyatt was also working on adding new elements to his character for his return to the company.
Of course, Wyatt would never return to WWE programming, remaining off air until he was shockingly released last month. Wyatt has since posted a new cryptic image on his social media pages, which you can find here.
