A new report from Fightful has offered some more information on Edge and Liv Morgan referencing released WWE talent on a recent episode of RAW.
During last week’s broadcast of RAW, Morgan referenced the release of both Ruby Riot and Sarah Logan. Meanwhile, Edge would reference John Morrison when engaging in a promo battle with The Miz.
According to the report, neither line was scripted by Vince McMahon himself, however multiple people believed he should have cut the lines. Also, Edge has a large amount of creative control over his promos and could have cut out the line if he had wanted to.
Finally, the report notes that the wrestlers referenced “seemed to take it well”. The lines were also just seen as “just another part of the show.”
