Update on MLW’s TV Deal With VICE, Future Plans For Fans Returning

According to a report from Pwinsider, MLW’s pending debut on VICE TV is expected to take place in May, with the idea to air featured content from their vast library as a lead-in to “Dark Side Of The Ring” to draw in more viewers. Dark Side Of The Ring debuts on May 6th for the third season, so it’s likely MLW may debut on that date.

If everything goes according to plan, MLW will be taping with a live audience in July, going forward with taped shows versus a live format. The new deal with VICE TV will not affect MLW’s status with BeIN Sports or DAZN. MLW CEO Court Bauer is looking to get MLW on as many platforms as possible by providing “unique programming across the board when needed” for the deals.

MLW is still in talks with Discovery and other TV deals may also be on the horizon.

Original Report

As announced tonight via MLW’s YouTube channel, MLW is heading to VICE TV. The company says they will make their debut this spring, as you can see in the video below. No definitive date has been set as of this writing.

MLW: Fusion currently airs on DAZN as well as Fubo TV and YouTube on Wednesdays, and BeIN Sports on Saturdays and Mondays. The company has reportedly been in talks for another TV deal for some time, with Court Bauer teasing late last week that a new deal was imminent.

As most fans may know, VICE TV airs Dark Side of the Ring, which has been a big ratings success. The third season will be airing in May. Court Bauer is also set to appear on this week’s MLW: Fusion broadcast for an announcement. Having said that, it’s likely that Bauer will have further details on this deal between MLW and VICE TV.

We will keep you updated when more information becomes available.
