As we saw on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy suffered a scary neck/head injury after taking a Liger Bomb (Sitout Powerbomb) by PAC during the World Title Eliminator match. The injury caused AEW to call an audible and change the ending of the match from what was originally planned to be a 20-minutue time limit draw to a no contest, with both Cassidy and PAC being counted out on the mat by referee Aubrey Edwards.
Fightful reports that Cassidy is fortunately okay after the spot. Cassidy and PAC will now both face Kenny Omega in a triple threat match at AEW Double or Nothing for the AEW World Title, which was the original plan all along.
