Update On Plans For AEW’s Debut Show In The UK

AEW’s arrival in the UK could come as soon as next summer, according to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

So far, AEW has exclusively operated events in North America, except for a handful of matches in Cologne, Germany and Tokyo, Japan for gaming conventions.

In the latest Observer, it’s reported that the earliest AEW could hold an event overseas is the summer of next year, and it is expected to be held at Craven Cottage Stadium in West London.

Craven Cottage is the home of Fulham FC, the team owned by AEW President Tony Khan’s father Shahid Khan.

Tony Khan had planned on hosting Fyter Fest 2020 in the UK, but those plans were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
