Earlier this week, eWrestling News reported that WWE has been willing to discuss forgoing (or easing up on) their typical non-compete clauses post-release from the company.
A typical WWE contract either comes with a 30-day or 90-day no-compete clause in the contract. However, Fightful Select recently reported confirmations of one talent getting an early release from their non-compete clause. Allegedly, WWE was willing to forgo the entirety of the non-compete ordeal, but the performer did not want that to happen.
Reportedly, John Laurinaitis and other officials in WWE have been “very easy to deal with” in discussing this information.
