Taya Valkyrie has shared some details regarding her contract status. Fightful Select have come through with an update.
While she’s been busy with several promotions, Valkyrie remains a free agent. It was reported earlier this month that she’s still looking for a more “permanent home,” but as of this writing, she remains contractually free to work where she likes.
Valkyrie is an active champion in three different promotions – Impact Wrestling, AAA, and MLW. She’s said to be happy with her freedom since departing WWE NXT. MLW founder Court Bauer reached out to her to bring her in to the promotion. Valkyrie worked against Billie Starkz at last night’s MLW SuperFight TV tapings, despite some concerns about Starkz’ age. Taya has said that adapting to the different company styles hasn’t been an issue for her.
Valkyrie also said that she’s open to coaching and producing, and is happy to speak up in favor of performers when asked for talent recommendations. She loves giving advice, and is flattered when others ask for it.
