As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon didn’t attend last Friday’s WWE SmackDown and this past Monday’s RAW TV tapings after making several changes to the post-WrestleMania edition of RAW.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that McMahon was still involved in creative despite not being physically at the shows. McMahon was part of the meetings by working remotely.
As noted, the changes made to Monday’s episode of RAW were more due to travel issues, as a flight with talent traveling from Orlando, FL was delayed.
“Time will tell how deep that will be, but when it comes to the top of the card stuff, ultimately they are doing what he wants. But we do know of some minor things on the show, including promo wordings, that were changed this week so the influence is there,” Meltzer wrote.
