As we reported here on eWn earlier this month, the team of Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini aka Violence Is Forever have left MLW.
Fightful have now added more information on how these departures came to be.
Before their release from the company, MLW reportedly did not have anything planned for the duo creatively after Tom Lawlor exited the company back in November. The report notes that despite both releases being agreed upon in late December after Garrini and Ku instigated talks, they did not come into effect until January 13th. The agreement was also said to be mutual without “any ill will between the two sides.” This lines up with both Ku and Garrini’s statements on leaving MLW, where both were very thankful to the company and those working inside it.
Finally, the report notes that both Garrini and Ku were on exclusive pay-per-appearance deals before their departures from MLW.
