Cody Rhodes is not expected to be at next month’s go-home episode of Raw before WrestleMania 38.
This week, it was reported that Rhodes has signed a contract with WWE, which was later confirmed by AEW’s Chris Jericho.
Rhodes is expected to face Seth Rollins who has vowed to hijack next week’s Raw if he’s not granted a spot at WrestleMania.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Cody will not be appearing on Raw as some have suspected, but will be kept as a surprise until WrestleMania:
“Every impression I have is that he’s doing the Hardys thing where you show up on the day of the show.”
Cody left WWE in 2016 and would found AEW three years later where he became a three-time TNT Champion.
