WWE.com recently added a “Clash of the Champions” pay-per-view section. Although the logo still says “Night of Champions”, the text reads “Clash of Champions”. This is either a typo or the name will be slightly edited to remove the “the”. As reported late last night here on eWrestlingNews.com, Ticketmaster is also advertising “Clash of Champions.”
WWE’s “Clash of the Champions” pay-per-view takes place on September 25th from Indianapolis, IN and is expected to be a RAW-brand only event. This may change with the upcoming draft but the following talents are being advertised for the event: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles. That could just be a placeholder until the event gets closer, however.
