AAA wrestler Cuartero was recently arrested for charges of domestic violence and attempted femicide against CMLL star Stephanie Vaquer.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Cuartero is currently in jail as the investigation continues and he will stay there at least until it’s over. This means the luchador will remain behind bars until mid-May.
Cuartero is currently one-third of the AAA trios champions, but Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide has yet to strip him of the title. His head has been shaved in jail.
In other news, Major League Wrestling has announced that Tony Deppen will take on Tracy Williams at MLW War Chamber on April 6. The event takes place at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City. The match will be a first-round bout in the Opera Cup.
