Former WWE announcer Brandi “Eden” Rhodes faced off against Joey Ryan for the DDT Pro Wrestling Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship at Thursday night’s WrestlePro event. During the match, Joey Ryan put Brandi threw thumbtacks that he had dumped onto the map. Rhodes wound up defeating Joey Ryan by submission. You can check out a video of the match below:
As reported several weeks ago here on eWn, Tomoaki Honma suffered a cervical spine injury during a match on March 3rd. In an update on this, Honma underwent successful surgery earlier this week and posted the following message online:
He wrote: “Surgery was a success and now I’m starting the rehabilitation process (right now I’m raising and lowering my knees, etc). From here on out, I’m going for it! Thanks everyone!“
