Jay White lost the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship to Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 17 following which the Switchblade challenged Hikuleo to a ‘Loser Leaves Town’ match at New Year’s Dash. Fightful Select reports that White is currently booked for more NJPW events scheduled to take place after the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, rendering any speculation of him making a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble void.
Fightful Select also reports that several AEW Title belts have undergone design changes with respect to the logo, with the AEW Tag Team Titles having also received some minor cosmetic upgrades.
Following Kenny Omega’s IWGP US Title victory at Wrestle Kingdom 17, NJPW has launched a new Mega Man-inspired t-shirt for The Cleaner. The shirt was designed by Mega Man producer Daizon Nonaka. NJPW’s Twitter account wrote the following:
