— Former WWE & ROH wrestler John “Tank” Toland turns 32 today.

— There are no pro wrestling shows advertised for ESPN Classic this weekend.

— The UWF will return to ESPN Classic on Monday night.

— ROH sent out the following today…

On 9/22/12, ROH presents “Survival of the Fittest 2012” in Baltimore, MD as part of our next “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Tapings at The Du Burns Arena! The winner of the two round, single-elimination tournament will earn a future shot at the ROH World Title and thus far nine men have stepped up to the plate to fight for their chance. ROH World TV Champion Adam Cole, 2011 SOTF Winner Michael Elgin, Jay Lethal, Mike Bennett, 2005 SOTF Winner Roderick Strong, Homicide, Kyle O’Reilly, Mike Mondo, and Rhino are all entered into the field.

Now ROH officials have signed on another first time combatant for the 2012 SOTF, and he is a man rather unfamiliar to the ROH faithful, but one who has made quite an impact in recent weeks, earning himself an ROH contract at “Boiling Point 2012”: “God’s Gift” QT Marshall!

“God’s Gift” QT Marshall

ROH Title(s) Held: None

SOTF History: None

QT Marshall is definitely the dark horse of “Survival of the Fittest 2012” put ROH if all about giving people opportunity and this is definitely the biggest one of Marshall’s brief time in ROH, possibly of his entire wrestling career. Will “God’s Gift” be able to handle the pressure and excel under the spotlight on September 22nd? Be there live to find out!
