Rey Mysterio made his SmackDown debut on July 25, 2002. He has since been hailed as the greatest masked luchador to step foot inside a WWE ring. His 20th anniversary has been teased recently on episodes of RAW. The teases have prompted some to speculate whether WWE would hold a special 20th-anniversary show for the legendary luchador, ala John Cena. Well, that may just be the case.

Madison Square Garden confirmed that the upcoming July 25th edition of RAW would celebrate Mysterio’s career. The venue posted a video on social media that features Mysterio promoting the event. The former WWE Champion revealed that he would be teaming up with his son, Dominik, to face off against Judgment Day.

Mysterio and Dominik have been in a feud against Judgment Day on RAW. Judgment Day, which features Finn Balor and Damien Priest, have tried to recruit Dominik to join them. There has been some speculation about whether WWE would try to turn Dominik heel. Perhaps this could happen in two weeks.
