Representatives of the Peoria Civic Center are “disappointed” that Scarlett had a drink thrown at her during a WWE live event.
Last weekend, Scarlett was ringside for Karrion Kross’ match with Drew McIntyre when a female fan threw her beverage on the Smokeshow.
The fan was quickly detained and removed from the arena alongside those she had been seated with.
On its website, the Peoria Civic Center issued the following statement:
“We are aware of the incident that took place at the WWE event on Saturday, November 12.
Fortunately, our Peoria Civic Center security team along with the Peoria Police quickly identified the individuals responsible and escorted them out of the building for the remainder of the show.
While we were disappointed in the actions of a couple and the brief distraction they caused, over 4,000 enthusiastic WWE fans were treated to a very entertaining event.”
Scarlett has also responded to the incident and there is no word on whether charges have been filed.
