Vickie Guerrero was recently a guest on “The Whole Story Podcast,” where she discussed a plethora of subjects, including the ongoing feud between Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio.
“I wish I was part of it! I just think ‘Man, they’re having so much fun…’ Dominik and Rhea have always texted me, and we talked back and forth, and they’ve always had my support.”
Discussing how Dominik’s new look makes him look eerily similar to her husband, the late great Eddie Guerrero, Vickie said,
“It was remarkable how much they looked alike. I told Dominik ‘You have this honorary position of having Eddie live in the storyline, and you have my support.’”
The Rey Mysterio-Eddie Guerrero-Dominik angle in 2005 is of course one of the most infamous programs in WWE history.
Dominik turned on Rey and Edge at Clash at the Castle last year and has since been involved in a feud with his father that has seen the soon-to-be Hall of Famer reject his son’s demands to get physical with him.
On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the entire Mysterio family will be in attendance, with Dominik planning to “ask his mother for permission” to face Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39.
