CM Punk is featured in a new promo to promote this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race that has the synopsis read like, “CM Punk provides a primer for the return of NASCAR to NBC Sports ahead of this weekend’s Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.”
Punk lost to Mickey Gall in his debut MMA fight in 2016, then returned to the UFC for a unanimous decision loss to Mike Jackson. Since his time in the UFC, joined the announce team for Cage Fury Fighting Championships to commentate future events.
He made his broadcasting debut at the CFFC 71 event on Dec. 14 at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City on UFC Fight Pass.
