On tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown (June 25th), the Rated-R Superstar Edge returned to WWE TV.
As the Universal Champion Roman Reigns was making a championship address alongside his special advisor Paul Heyman to close the show, Heyman would boast about how Reigns has defeated all that have stepped up to the Tribal Chief. Heyman listed a series of names that Reigns had beaten, including Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Edge and Braun Strowman, but before Reigns himself could say a word, Edge made his return.
Heading straight to the ring, he wasted no time at all, attacking Reigns and sizing up the Universal Champion for a Concharito, before Jimmy Uso arrived to make the save. Though Reigns would get out of harm’s way, Jimmy Uso would find himself put through the barricade by Edge.

Edge has not been seen since night two of WrestleMania 37, where he and Daniel Bryan were defeated by Roman Reigns in the main event.
