During last night’s annual post-Christmas WWE live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a surprise return during the opening segment.
Baron Corbin came out to open the show, forcing the referee to do a 10-count to get a forfeit win over Braun Strowman, who is currently out with an injury. At the count of eight, Vince McMahon’s “No Chance” theme music hit and he came to the ring. McMahon announced a replacement for Strowman – John Cena. Vince referred to Cena as, “A man with more Madison Square Garden moments than Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino, and Stone Cold combined.”
