As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Max Dupri (LA Knight) has been removed from WWE’s Maximum Male Models storyline. He has since been replaced by Maxxine Dupri (Sofia Cromwell).
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Vince McMahon had directly blamed Dupri for the failure of the segments. It was said to have been McMahon’s call to remove him from the storyline.
One source noted that McMahon thought the debut segment was terrible and blamed it solely on Dupri’s delivery. Additionally, Knight often times expressed his frustration over the script, which didn’t go over well.
