Vince McMahon was namedropped on last night’s episode of WWE NXT in the first mention of the former Chairman since July.
That month, McMahon retired from all roles with WWE due to the investigation into alleged misconduct with female employees.
McMahon was alleged to have paid millions of dollars in NDAs to keep women quiet about extramarital affairs he participated in.
During WWE NXT, Booker T namedropped McMahon when discussing some of the greatest bookers in wrestling history.
Booker’s line comes days after Corey Graves referenced ‘hush money’ on WWE RAW, which many have seen as a nod to his former boss.
McMahon has not appeared on screen for WWE since his retirement and has made a handful of public appearances.
In the wake of his departure, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have been appointed co-CEOs of WWE, with Stephanie serving as Chairwoman.
