In recent weeks, Monday Night Raw has received terrible reviews from fans. In fact, many call last week’s episode the worst in recent memory. Raw recently recorded its lowest audience in history, which is certainly not a good sign. However, one thing that the past two episodes of Raw have in common is that they were re-written beforehand by Vince McMahon.
This week’s show was different than normal, as many of the babyfaces ended up prevailing in their respective storylines and matches. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon arrived at this week’s Raw in Houston, Texas around 3 P.M. local time, around three hours before the show began. McMahon reportedly arrived late because he was visiting his mother, who lives in the area.
McMahon reportedly re-wrote the show last-minute, as he wanted to give it a happier vibe and send the fans home happy, due to the fact that the city was mourning the loss of former United States President George H.W. Bush.
